You think too much about bf2 when working,_NL_Lt.EngineerFox wrote:
So yesterday I had a conversation with my boss, asking me how I as doing. I said every is going well and I like the work very much, meeting people, driving through the country and the co-workers are nice. Then he said that that is good but I get the feeling from co-workers that you don't have the feeling to become a good mover, you have good meanings, never late, always looking good(shaved, comany clothes washed, shoes tied good etc) but you are not becoming a mover.
I was shocked, I didn't expect this at all, nobody told me what I was doing wrong for a half year and now he says that I'm not doing my work good?!
Although my boss said that I have nothing to worry about:'You are 19, have good reference, have your truck-license, you can start anywhere in the transport business', this was not helping at all. I don't wanna do anything else, I like my job but it has no piont on focussing to become a succesfull mover.
I walked out with mixed feelings. On one side I was happy, no more heavy lifting, no more getting up at 0500 and coming home at 1900 hours. On the other side I was amazed that I did not see that I was not doing my work correctly, I don't have my huge enormous Mercedes Actros Megaspace anymore ( ) and that I am losing great co-workers.
So now I go to go find other work, really, REALLY sucks.
not quite true. You earn alot more than average national wage, you get a massive allowance when studying for it at uni, you get your accommodation paid for you. You get alot for one person just not enough to fully support a family.pers0nah wrote:

What a cruel cruel world we live in.
I'd imagine theres a fairly big demand for truck drivers. Probably mainly to do with the mining industry as It's booming like no tomorrow._NL_Lt.EngineerFox wrote:
@ _Raab, this used to be my Mercedes Actros Megaspace, I still love the semi-automatic gearbox in the armrest

But is there a big demand for truckdrivers in Australia? If so, why?
