You'd be surprised how many girls don't care about a guy's physique. A lot of women are even turned off by a guy who is very well built either because he's too big and muscular or gives out the impression of being vain. The confidence factor of working out does help though, you may notice people who train often hold themselves more confidently and bigger, stronger guys may find it easier to assume the alpha male position (though not always), which is a natural attraction for women. I've never got a girl just because of my physique and I've been lifting weights and doing kickboxing training for years.argo4 wrote:
Go to the gym and build some muscle, girls like that and it's gonna make you feel more self confident. As for talking to them, it's kind of hard in school because outside of class they always seem to form those protective groups That's why I got a job where I can spend a solid 8 hours flirting .In conclusion, get off the forums for God's sake!!!!!
I really wasn't talking about being " Arnold"ripped, just having a decent muscle definition. You're right that muscles alone won't get a girl: I didn't mean that, but when given a choice between 2 equally funny, smart etc. guys, women will pick the more attractive one, i.e. the guy that has muscle. Muscles give you an edge, but as you said, you can't rely on your appearance alone.Braddock wrote:

I dunno, having a good physique helps me. I'm not overly muscular, fairly defined and athletic. Almost every girl I've got with, whether its a gf or a random pull/one nighter has said something along the lines of "I love how muscular you are". Also I agree with your point about it building confidence. If you look better, you feel better and more confident. So working out definitely does help.Braddock wrote:
