If for gaming, change the 8600GT to HD3850 or even better 8800GT

To save up that money (if needed), maybe switch to a cheaper a Gigabyte P35 DS3 mobo.

Also: No HD? Using the one(s) you have already?

Ok.. the 8800 is £120 .... a bit high, What would the 8800 allow me to run bf2 or whatever game at? lol
r'Eeee
That's how I roll, BITCH!

All high, except Crysis. I use 1680x1050, everything high in CoD4, TF2, Gears of War and Bioshock, and I get a very high FPS.

Building your own is always the more-power-for-money- and more-sufficient-hardware-for-your-needs- option. I can suggest another parts if you like how that pre-built looks later today, but now I must go.

Jep, self building is always better. I'll trow together an machine for you. Does it need an legal OS with it too?

Well I quickly trew this this together. £675 including VAT and shipping. I didn't include a case, as you can get either an simple or expensive case with lots of extra's and cool looking gadgets, I let that choice up to you. I included vista home premium x64, the price would be £605 without the OS, that choice is also up to you.

Yes that mobo supports 8gb of ram.

And for cpu cooler I recommend this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu … =HS-017-AR Excellent for the price.

If you want to keep your system cool and don't care if it looks unique or not, this is still a good case: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu … =CA-065-AN

And I'd change the HD to this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu … subcat=940 or if you want 750GB, this (Pretty much the best HD atm, yet nice price): http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu … subcat=940

What is wrong with the HD I selected? It has 32mb cache, the one you selected only has 16...

32MB cache over 16MB cache is only needed when he sets up in RAID0 to buffer load times when starting up windows, otherwise, it has no need.

Yeah I was going for the spinpoint at first, but then I saw this one with 32mb cache. But as more than 16mb is unnesecairy go for the spinpoint
