Ads here suck for cars now, because the stupid shits thought the reason people drive fast "hoon" is because they see it in the ads and got them banned. They were also trying to get manufacturers to stop making speedo's go up to 220kmh, despite the fact that even if the cars could do that, they can't cause they're speed limited to 180.

I personally though the Boat jump was the greatest part of the Isuzu commercial, though going down the stairs on two wheels was fucking sick too.
I REALLY want to learn to drive on two wheels like that. I almost signed up for a stunt driving class as a Xmass present one year, but in the end it was only a one day class focused on more timid stuff like J-turns, ect...I think it was like an intro class and I have done enough dicking around that it didn't seem worth it.
CG has completely ruined all car movies/comercials. Sure they can do a lot crazier stuff when its fake, but the way the car moves just does not look the same.
These commercials may have had some gimmicks (the nose stand is obviously just the body lifting off the car and you can see the two cars for the tandem skids were braced to each other) But you at least get to see the car actually being put to work.
You know as much as I hate the company Toyota made some very cool commecials with the actual demonstration of towing/braking where the truck headed down a ramp with a load and had to stop before going off a cliff.

It´s still in german and youtube quality is crappy, but you get the picture. They had it run in the cinema back then and watching that one on such a screen made me cry. Literally.
