Blob?

Every time I try to start up Steam (or a Steam game) I get the following error message:

Steam.exe (main exception): CMultiFieldBlob(pSerialized): Bad field – extends past end of blob

Three questions:

1) How serious is this problem?

2) What should I do?

3) Wtf is a blob?

A blob is either a "binary large object" or a very bad movie.

try uninstall/reinstall or something

Go into your steam folder and delete the clientregistry.blob file? Hell iunno blob is just a type of file and thats all i know.
