as long as it stays under 75c it is good.

EDIT: and I did ask about G0 thermals from a finnish OC guru...

the older B3 has lower thermal limit by ~5c. Staying bellow 71c with B3 revision Q6600 is adviced.

As for the point raised about temperatures, 60+ is a high temp to run a CPU for prolonged periods of time but the temp I mentioned was with all 4 cores running at 100% for over an hour. Very rarely will you be able to use a quad at 100% usage and reach those temps in everyday use. Its rare to see mine above 50°C even when gaming. So long as you don't pump unnecessary volts into a CPU or run it a ridiculous temperatures it ain't gonna die quickly.

Not hardly.  I've had my Q6600 for about a year now, and I've run temps over 60C for extended periods when I've loaded up all cores.  You don't need to start worrying until your temps start in the high 70s or low 80s.  And that's overclocked to 3GHz with extra voltage to the system.
