could of been the environment or could of been genetic. Diseases have been known to cause physical mutations.

psychologically, I wonder how they are able to cope with it if they make it to age when they are able to reason and notice that she is different from everybody else

I doubt it will survive. No doubt as it grows there will be complications with organs pressing against each other and shit.

I reckon that photo is a shoop anyway, I can tell from some of the pixels and having done many shoops in my time.
