hi!

I used the search button but couldnt find an answer to my question. so here it is ...

I have the game BF2 without any expansion (SF). I installed the newest patch which
added 2 tier 2 unlocks. Because my main account (badclown) needs 20.000 points
to get a new unlock, I started to play with a new account (b4dcl0wn) to get the
famous NEW sniper rifle.

When checking the EA helpdesk it says for the NEW sniper rifle and the P90 you
just need the BF2 game and the new patch NOT the SF expansion.

So I played and got the first 2 unlocks: To get the NEW sniper I first unlocked the M95
and expected to be able to unlock the L96A1 after that , but when switching through the
new unlocks it doesnt offer the L96A1.

So no idea ... has anyone the same problem or knows anything about that ?

again: searching the EA helpdesk it says for the L96A1 you just need the patch 1.2

That's bad info, because you DO need SF to obtain the second tier weapons. You could give your login to a trusted individual to play a round in SF, then you'll be able to select the unlocks.

I believe this trusted friend has to actually unlock the weapons, im not sure if just playing a round will enable the account to unlock things. I dont know for sure though.

@ above, it works.
Just play for something like 10 mins, then you should get the appropriate unlocks (according to rank. SGT MJR allows you to receive all unlocks)

From my experience with it, you just need to finish a round in :SF. You dont need to play the entire round, you just need to be there when it ends.
