Ofcourse identity always matters to some degree, what I'm talking about is that it would matter more over there than it does here. Obama is winning, that's a fact I can't deny. What I'm saying is that popular media always make their programs basing on what's popular, what's being watched alot. That they are making a documentary on race means it's something they can profit greatly of - apparantly it's a very popular subject.
I am stating that race and religion matter more over there then it does here, there it gets more, way more attention than it does over here.
And how do they make the public think they're important? By making programs based on events / opinions in our world that, according to many, have significance in our society. That alot of people would watch a documentary on race in politics means that it's not only entertainment, but that alot of people think it's important.Kmarion wrote:

I don't really listen alot to the polls of the media from what the outcomes would be tbh, the hillary-obama battle has proven once again that you can't just predict the outcome of that.

The illusion of real life news attracts it's own entertainment zeal. There could of course be more feeble minded than I perceive. I'd think I have more direct exposure to American sentiment than you though. The vast majority only turn on the news to check the weather, traffic, and local news. Cable news attracts a rather low percentage of American viewers when considered over the entire adult population.dayarath wrote:
