No. One of the teenage girls claims to have been forced into marriage, raped, and forced to bear a child to a 50-odd year old man. And the government is attempting to investigate those claims.

So I guess the government shouldn't attempt to protect children and some "patriot" should go blow up a federal building in Wyoming to show the world how wrong the people in Texas are?

All religion is utter nonsense. To be quite honest (and some will find this offensive) I believe anyone who actually follows a religion to be deluded and/or psychologically weak, as Freud says religion is an accepted form of mass neuroses. I personally speak out against members of a section of society (be it along religious, ethnic or cultural lines) being demonised because of the actions of a small minority within that group.

Aren't the officials trying to get into the FLDS's temple there at the compound? I heard that was the whole reason they were worried about a "waco-style" standoff. Because Jeffs' followers will not allow any "unbelievers" into their temples.
