basicalli...ive got a bit of spare cash lying around ...as you do

at the moment i have

8800gt 512mb overclocked
abit ip35 pro
e6750 @2.8ghz
4gb ocz 6400 ram
550w corsair psu

ive already decided to change from my antec 900 to a cosmos ...an i hate the antec ..

what could i upgrade, any recommendations ?

Despite it just being a case, my Cosmos is the thing I love the most about my computer. Which is retarded, as with crap other parts it wouldn't be worth using. But it genuinely is amazing. <3

Out of that lot, I'd probably get a quad core and a better GPU. Maybe a 3870X2?

Why upgrade, you'll wont notice difference when you change you're graphic card, P35 is a good chipset, E6750 is a decent dual core and excellent for gaming and OCing due to 1333FSB, 4GB OCZ 6400 is excellent and the PSU isnt even sweating., I'd spend it on games or a night out.

sorry didn't see the motherboard, I'm a bit tired. Nah don't change anything rly, unless you are doing heavy number calculations a quadcore is useless for you. And unless you are playing on very high resolutions an new GPU isn't necessary either.

Try overclocking some, get a decent cooler such as the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro or the Thermalright Ultra 120. I've seen the 6750 go past 4Ghz on air, but a simple boost to 3.2 GHz is fine.

Wouldnt buy the cosmos, its air flow isnt great, the S version is not bad, but the stock is well, crap in that respect.
