BF2S Forums Hmm Why are Cigarretes called fags over seas?

i cba to post in the other topic now.

Although its the same word I, and at least everyone in the area I live pronounces it differently to gay fag.

It's a long a when reffering to a cigarette.

Though, this has no grounding at all, seeing as all I have to do is go 50 miles in any direction and not understand a fricking word anyones saying.
