IF I hit 17k, I'm happy.

Give it up, 780i + SLI certified RAM + 88GTS G92 in SLI beats Tri-Fire or Quad Crossfire or whatever it's called

(took out all the LED's, it hurts my eyes tbh.)
Apart from that, that system is bhutsecks.
By the way, what PCI-E 1x card is that?

Soundmodule from ASUS.
I'll do some crossfire testing before I get the 3rd RV670. And OC some stuff too like ram and find CPU max OC. I don't bother OC'ing gfx card much.

3.6Ghz should be quite easy with that CPU and keeping RAM at stock speed. Depends how far you are willing to push your RAM.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

ram won't be my problem. it should work at 980mhz from what I have tested before. And I'm not trying to get 24/7 clocks higher than 3.33ghz which is what I have now. 3.33ghz enough and keeps the heat load/silence optimal.Drykill wrote:

Let the OC fest begin brb with hopefully CPU at >3.6ghz

Some troubles booting to Vista when at 3.6ghz, It need so much vcore that 3dmark06's CPU test crashes. at 3.51ghz it doesn't need so much voltage so here is my highest score so far. This is with the x2 only.

Latest score from the SLI team

If panzer used XP like you did, I bet he'd beat your score Richo.
Pft, I'd rape that if I had a second 8800GTX~{TPP}~richoxon wrote:

But then I only have a E6600 CPU...(3.4 GHz)
its a QX6700, not a Q6700. spooky !
crossfire bridge and 3rd pci-e 6pin power cable on my table waiting for the card. 12 hours ETA on the card.

NOW FUCKING FLOOR IT!!! WE WANT 3DMARK!
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Haha, yeah I'm looking forward to this. Especially with regards to real world benchmarks, interesting as 3DMark is.
That's not very effective tbh... It added like what, 2500 points? About as fast as my card
Oh, and I'd like to see 3DMark01 too!

You should be able to break 100k in 01.
EDIT: Actually maybe not, can't remember how well K|ngp|n did in 06 when he broke 100k in 01.

Kickass! Nearly 20k How does Crysis run on very high for you?
Last edited by RDMC (2008-04-10 08:27:39)
A slight overclock and all cores will definately push you over 20k, given that you haven't overclocked them much yet.
close enough... Crysis in dx10 mode has performance bug when using crossfire but I'll give it a go anyway...

it added about 2700 points and boosted my minimum fps quite nicely.
