I quoted some lines on the other page, no fault of yours, but you don't know that community. Why should you?

I'd say that if you posted some of those thoughts here, the place wouldn't be negatively impacted, plus you'll get more action.

actually, it's been my experience that hard-lined religious types are by far the biggest "jerks" I've ever met and most athiests just do their own thing and tend to be more educated about religion anyway ...

Exactly. Fundamentalists are jerks because whenever you try to talk to them about religion, they start quote-mining and saying "LALALALA I'm not listening." What I really can't stand is Westboro Baptist Church.
