My system specs are in my signature.
This problem started after I plugged and unplugged one my my flash drives about 4 times.
When I rebooted it told me it found new hardware -PLUG AND PLAY BIOS EXTENSION
but it fails to install the correct driver no matter what I do.
I have researched this a bit and have no definitive answer.
I went into my bios and made sure that plug and play OS was active.
Do you guys think if I re-install my chipset drivers it will fix it?
Everything else is fine and I would rather be without my USB ports than risk screwing up my system
but I did want some opinions on what would cause this or how hard it would be to correct.
