I stumbled upon this Screen and was curious if it was a good buy ?

I'm on a budget so I need to watch what I spend ..... I was also looking for a 100" screen

I also found a How to build a Screen and was wondering if anyone has tried that ?

I'm in the same position.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Would personally go for the build your own.

Or just use a wall, do you actually have any free wall space?

It almost looks like a cam quality movie (DIY on left, real screen on right)

My brother and I just have a standard 6x6ft 4:3 screen mounted to the ceiling. It works an absolutely charm!

Definitely no on the wall, there is a huge difference between a wall and a screen.
