Admin help!

I'v gotten admin rights from my clan and i was wondering, is there a way of seeing whats happening on the server without actually going in there?
iv tried going to BF2 icon right clicking and going to properties and setting target fullscreen to 0 so i can switch between BF2cc and BF2 easily but in the game i cant use free camera to go around the map because even when i press spacebar the spawn menu keeps popping up does anyone have a solution?

just hit the X on the spawn screen and it shouldn't come back.

Bingo! Or you can disable the HUD:

Open in-game console with tilde key '`' next to '1'. Input renderer.drawhud 0. Press 'Enter'. Nothing will pop up, until you enable the HUD with 'renderer.drawhud 1'.

ya but i want to know if i can see whats happing without actually being in the server (eg. my name not being on the scoreboard)! in the server setup 'outside view' is enabled but how do i use it?

I've never been an admin, so I wouldn't know how to us BF2CC.

But you could go into the server without any tags giving away your admin-ness. I've seen admins go into the game with a different name to catch people, too.

All you can do from outside the server is view chatlogs and player details; the players list shows you details of scores and Tks, and the chatlog gives you an indication of any abuse or problems.

You can also type messages in the white box next to the refresh button (looks like a URL bar) which the players can read in game, and ask the players if there are any problems.

'Outside view' refers to the 3rd person camera views used by players, they can be disabled, doesn't do anything for you as admin.

Like Cyrax said, you can go incognito under another alias...

There is no way to view what is going on like a video, if that's what you mean.
