A few hours ago i was playing a Karkand server and i was at the square, as i looked toward the TOW i saw the enemy uav plane hovering right near the ground. My friend shot the plane with the TOW, and blew it up. Anyone ever heard/seen this happen before?
I've heard of them being shot down but never flying that low
yeah me 2 but it wasnt flying at all it was stationary from what i saw, maybe i was lagging or something but several people said they saw it also in that same round. ill try to get the Screenshot from my friend.
Yes, I also had that issue on the Dalian plant map, I believe that the UAV has to have a minimum height above an object, lets say 25mtrs. when positioned over a low spot it might be flying lower than normal. But again, that is just my believe.
Well if this were true that means the specific exact spot the commander just happened to place the UAV center at was about 65m below ground level. Some kind of hole somewhere in the map of Karkand. Not sure where but it could exist and hence explain why the UAV is only about 10m in the air in the picture.Bernadictus wrote:

I actually took out a UAV with a grenade a few nights ago trying to nade a sniper off the roof of a building. They are lower than they should be.
