Its pissing me off, iTunes keeps randomly stopping in songs, and then playing, but the result is what sounds like a cd skipping...


its REALLY pissing me off

any ideas?

edit: seems to be my whole computer, and now its not doing it, its very random

- CPU Core Temp = 108F +/- 5F         88F  +/- 3F

RAM = 4GB



Could it be my HDD?

When I had that problem, I just switched the plugs for my speakers from the IO on the back of my motherboard.

Im using a soundcard, and I havent changed the plugs around

It also skips the video & sound on VLC whilst watching a video...

Like right now my music isnt skipping, but in 30 minutes it will for a little while

Sound and Chipset drivers for a start. It could be your HDD being slow, try a defrag?
