Basically, everytime I'm streaming a video/music the computer acts all jerky (along with the video itself) and the HDD light keeps blinking. Not sure why. It stops once the video has loaded/buffered but if you try to play the video whilst it's streaming it'll happen. Quite annoying.

It can't be RAM, I have 1.5GB of the stuff. I updated the Flash player and even Re-installed Firefox. What else could it be? Why is my HDD going crazy when I stream something?

Anyone?

What graphics card do you have?  Guessing a decent one, however in my experiences, running off onboard graphics or cruddy graphics cards caues streaming visuals to be choppy and lag behind the sound.

Hmm... you could try defragging your hdd - preferably with something better than windows defrag (I favour a combination of diskeeper and PageDefrag myself (though, dunno if the 2nd one works on Vista)).
