And a question , do any of you guys delete/cleanup up any of your old threads or topics if it has no response or only a few ? might be a good ideal to do It , keep the server running smooth

Or at least get rid of everything over a year old. Not really worth it though if it's moving in a couple months.

Even if you delete threads/posts, they are still there. Mods can still see the deleted posts. So deleting them won't make much of a difference.

I had a few failed threads already , so I just delete them , no sense of it collecting dust on the shelf of some server host lol

As someone said before, the threads aren't effectively deleted. They're flagged so regular users can't see them anymore. That's why when you go to the last few pages on any of the subforums, they're usually empty. The deleted topics are still counted, but "invisible".
Then again, even if the treads were physically deleted, there wouldn't be much of a point in doing it. A couple records in the database really aren't going to affect the server's performance in any way.

When someone creates a topic that's been there before, he'll be flamed. Fine.
But when he actually bothers to search and find the old topic instead of creating a new one his fate isn't that much better. He posts in the old topic, someone goes "OMG, necroposting" and the topic gets locked.
