One of the lads at work noticed this and bought 1st class return flights to New York for him and his girlfriend for €300 odd in total. Regular retail price for the two would have been nearly €7000!

Now Aer Lingus have the cheek to cancel the booking on him! Fuck them - if you cancel a flight with an airline do they give you any back? Hell no. Aer Lingus needs to tbe taken to the cleaners for this one.

I really don't see how anyone can expect an airline to honour a €5 plane ticket even if it is a mistake.

Truth In Advertising laws, that's how. It's the airlines mistake, not the customers. They should be bound to what they posted. That should be a good lesson to be more careful with the way they run things.
