Cause, everything just disconnect and reconnected with no lose of LAN connection on any of my network devices and my cable modem.  Windows did not lose connection to my round and my router to my cable modem.  Really weird it lasted just under a min then everything reconnected.  My cable modem connection light stayed green too.

It happens that DSL equipment drops connections if line parameter thresholds aren't met. It could also be that the DSLAM or distribution router took a quick dive. These things happen all the time.

Our internet dies once in a while too. Since like 90% in switzerland use the same ISP (bluewin), when they go down we're pretty fucked
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Yea I just came home and my internet was totally disconnected.  I had to do a hard reset on my router but my cable modem has a battery back up(By Law, I have a VOIP.) so I had to use the reset pin hole.
