There I was, sneaking along an alley near the Hotel control point on Sharqi, when I got this message:
you were killed by [someone-or-other]
Normally this means I'm dead (again), but this time I found myself still sneaking along with a full health bar. According to the event log, I had been killed by my own commander, who was in a tank nearby!
I thought "Cool - I'm either a ghost, or I'm having an out-of-body experience; either way, I can't get killed, and I'm probably invisible!" Sadly, less than a minute later an obliging enemy sniper showed me that I was wrong on both counts.
Anyone else had anything like this happen? I found it pretty entertaining. I probably can't say the same for the commander, who got -4 for nothing. Serve him right for hogging the tank anyway.
