So, I had my account spoofed, modded server, ruined stats, reset. BAWWWWWWWWWWwww etc. etc.

Anyway.

They claim that they can only keep points and not awards....but..... somehow my ribbons are still there.

I think it's because the badges and medals are affixed to your formal uniform with pins, thus were removed when you were demoted.
The ribbons were probably painted onto your uniform with acrylic paint.
