[PROBLEM RESOLVED]


hey guys the title basicly says it all.. i have the retail, un-patched version on BF2 and just got the net put on so i decided to patch it to play online.
my tilde key(~) was working before the patch and now i cant get into the console...

do i need to add a "add_console=1" to a game file or something?

i thought it was the button to the left of "1". or above the tab button. thats what i've always used.
for example when i press it this character is shown "`" not this character that your mentioning "~". when i hold shift it show this character "¬".
i hope this helps

yeah thats the same button... except when i hold shift it comes up like this ~  not holding shift does this `...
anyway not the point.. if anyone knows to to get the console back it would be much appreciated

Just go to game options and find the console key assignment.  And assign the key again. With a new different key would help.

Personally I use the key "delete" for console.
