What is it with the BF2 section and people's maturity levels?

Since I started playing again, I've also started lurking the BF2 section a bit again. And my god, what is it with people? Guys who are usually good posters seem to loose all their posting manners when they enter the BF2 section.

What is it with BF2 that gets people so horribly revved up?

For shame.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

People seem to just be proving freezers point rather than answering the question. Prime example right there.

There's the people who care about stats and post about stats then there's the people who don't care about stats who seem to have some sort of superiority complex and that seems to cause friction between the two.

Especially when they see a thread they have no interest in and click it, read it and then reply to it with something along the lines of "I don't care." What's the point? Not to mention there's even a spell checker on here which goes out the window...

and not to mention....freezer you said that since you started to play bf2 a little again you've also staryed looking in bf2 thread , have at all seen the 2142,cod4 and so on....EVERY SINGLE GAME there is has different kind of players with different ways of playing the game...

i never said it wasn't fun.even with all of its flaws it's the best game i've ever played.but you can't deny the fact that DICE has steadily butchered it over the years and then left us with a game riddled with far more bugs and glitches than there should be.
