Today, I made some changings on the video settings, and i decide to play a singe player match to test this settings. I played the Gulf of Oman on Expert, the the results realy supprised me

I end up with 122 points
best bot: 114 points
worst bot: 32 points

I a game versus real player, 30~40 points is the maximum score on a 16 player map. And the round ends usaly early, because one side manage to capture all the flags. I tryed to capture all flags in the singleplayer - but it was not possible for me alone.

So: if you compare a bot game to a human game, a bot game produces 4 - 5 times more points!

The bots are smarter than we. Q.E.D.

Lol I remember when I had a bot as a gunner in a chopper and he got so many fucking kills, something like 90 - 0 and he beat my score and I was like "OMFG THATS BULLSHIT" and he was like "Enemy infantry spotted"

have you guys thought of that the bots don't seek cover they run in the middle of the road and they die like in 10-20 sec after they spawned.

Maybe. But they got tons of points. A life like a butterfly: short, but full of beauty.

Or jump out of a helo and the spin in one spot for the rest of the round.

I did notice since the patch that there are new names in the bot roster.

I noticed that on the hardest setting of single player tank vs. tank  that the bot would one shot kill me 90% of the time (pre 1.2 patch).

In multiplayer its rare.

What's so funny? It's the grammatically correct way to say it. You don't say "smarter than us".....

rofl..it IS grammatically incorrect as far as i can tell. "smarter than us" is in fact the right way to say it, or "bots are smarter than we ARE" sorry i found it kinda funny

Uh, there are many more actual grammar mistakes made by the original poster than the one you think is a mistake:

Lookey here!

Today, I made some changings [should be: “changes”] on [should be: “to”] the video settings, and i [capitalize; as in: “I”] decide [should be: “decided”] to play a singe [spelled: "single"] player match to test this [should be: “these”] settings. I played the [unnecessary remove: “the”] Gulf of Oman on Expert, the [replace “, the” with the conjunction “and”] the results realy [spelled with two L’s; “really”; though “truly” would have been a more appropriate word choice]  supprised [ spelled: “surprised” ] me.

Anyway. . . the one thing that is fine - is the final sentence: “The bots are smarter than we. Q.E.D.”

"Smarter than we" - is fine; although technically incorrect according to those that suffer from conceptual orthodoxy in terms of the English language (though I doubt you’re thinking is even that sophisticated; or in other words; I doubt your error in thinking to be wrong in that sophisticated of a way).

It's more a subtle matter of diction (inferred style here) - not grammar (as word usage changes over time; see the O.E.D. [the Oxford English Dictionary] for details) - and "YES" the modern American vernacular usage would be "smarter than us," but that is not an official stamp that such is actually incorrect.

"Smarter than we" sounds more old world English in usage - even older sounding would be "smarter than thou art."

And when combined with the Q.E.D., an abbr. for the Latin "quod erat demonstrandum," maybe you would have understood the sense of the usage.

Um.....yeah!

rofl..it IS grammatically incorrect as far as i can tell.
It's an idiom. You have to think of the word that comes after we, like you said is "are". Since you wouldn't say "The bots are smarter than us are", you change us to we.....it just sounds weird when you leave out what you are comparing the word to.

Bots work together to achieve a flag capture. They will actually fire at enemy along the way.
This is more than most of the human players ever do. Hence bots are better at teamwork.

Bots have difficulty settings so their accuracy when they fire can be changed. At Expert level they almost never miss and the only factor that makes them miss is the deviation of the gun. Hence they don't go hyper and spray erratically. The bots are more accurate than human players.

Outside both those points the bots are nothing more than mindless logrithmic drones without any sort of randomness or human intuition. So they suck in every other aspect. Including changing their minds and or realizing enemy strategy and preempting those strategies.

Although most human players are too blind and stupid to realize most strategies also so I guess the general public of players are the same as bots in the respect.

On most servers I wish I had bots on my side. At least then they would FOLLOW orders and actually try to CAPTURE flags with me instead of doing whatever the fuck they want to do.

You my un-friend are atypical to say the least. . .

My comment was directed not at the original poster (whom I don't agree with, to me bots a scripted idiots effective in AA for sure but idiotic nonetheless, and he, the original poster is entitled to his opinion). . . My post was specifically directed at the inane commenting from the other poster (about grammar) pointing out his error. . .

As for me - this was the first time I have ever included grammar mistakes in a post (on any forum) to illustrate a point. But it was not directed as comment about the content of the thread idea (I am fine with grammar & spelling mistakes, I am fine with the colloquial forms of speach, they do not bother me and I make them from time to time as well). . . you are as wrong as the other guy, only in a different way.
