I highly recommend it. The installation also was seamless.

1. Download Beta (here)
2. Install Beta

Every extension that I had with the exception of one worked1. The one that didn't work, GBookmarks, has a twin sister essentially which does the exact same thing - but it is faster at loading and instead of a long bit of text there is a nice little icon instead (star). Every setting was the same. Every detail, down to where I had separators and what search engines I used - they were all there, in fine working order.

Absolutely, 100%, no doubt about it worth the upgrade and install.

Before:

Note: I no longer use the 'New Tab Button' extension, un-installed prior to installation of FF3.5b

After:

The interface is just so much nicer - especially when typing something into the URL bar. I highly recommend the upgrade!

1. Extensions used are: Adblock Filterset.G Updater, Adblock Plus, Add to Search Bar, BBCode, Deng Google Bookmarks, IDM CC, Menu Editor, PDF Download and Secure Login. No Go Buttons didn't work but FF3.5b has actually removed one of them already - so it doesn't really matter now..!

I've been using it for a while, it's great. A lot quicker, and unlike the previous beta's, doesn't crash when accessing odd webpages.

Yeah, I used to have it runnin, but eventually got tired of no plugin support, and I didn't see much use in the "New" features. SO now I'm back to FF2

I was resisting the switch until I found that there is a version of Tab Mix Plus that works with the betas. It's available on the extension's forums. Multiple rows of tabs ftw! How can anyone use a browser where the tabs scroll off the side of the screen?

i'm loving that extension thanks to you!

but one thing bothers me, when i open a website in another tab, it shows a load bar or something.  is there any way i can get rid of that?

In the Tab Mix Plus Options there's a checkbox for showing a progress meter on tabs. Is that what you're talking about?
