Well then its something wrong at your end. I've used fast weapon switch since day one and it works fine.David.P wrote:

It is still there. you have to enable it!
No its not. This is not Quick switching that peter is talking about. This when enabled makes you auto select the weapons that you scroll over. The Quick switch i was talking about was hitting Q and the next weapon going downwards appears. Thats the Quick switch that they removed. This is Auto switch these are 2 different things.
My previous statement still stands. Valve Disabled Quick switching.
And.

A. omg yes
Hitting Q takes our your secondary, or the weapon you used before the current one.
You are eitherDavid.P wrote:

1. Lying
2. Doing it wrong
3. Have a different TF2 to me.
Look David. Q has always been referred to quick switching. It is essentially the same, if not better because you can now choose what weapon you want to go to.
um, Q still works for me?

Lies, Q is for strafing to the left! (Dirty qwerty nubs).teek22 wrote:

I'm sure it would be very easy to create a script that cycles through all the weapons when you press Q.
In fact, you don't even need to do that. Just go into the options, and change 'next weapon' to Q. There, problem sovled. Stop whining about how valve 'disabled' something that they clearly haven't.

No it's not.teek22 wrote:

Q = Quickswitch to Next weapon.
This = Scroll to next weapon and Auto Select.
Quickswitch was superior.
I dont understand what you want Q to do.

it switches to the last weapon used, or if you just spawned, your secondary. you've never used it?Peter wrote:

anyway, it works fine for the rest of us here, david, you suck
"people in ny have a general idea of how to drive. one of the pedals goes forward the other one prevents you from dying"
I know what Q does at the moment. Use it all the time .
It's just that David says it should be doing something else entirely. And the something else entirely sounds to me a lot like what it does at the moment. Hence the post.

David, Q does what you say. I use it all the time.
Obviously. I just have no idea what David.P wants it to do.haffeysucks wrote:
