Graphics Problem

I bought CoD4 yesterday and I realized the graphics are messed up big time.

Anybody have an idea why the grass and weapon are black? Even in the open, static objects appear black so it's not a lighting setting. The graphics settings are all on high. Does it have to do with DX 9.0c ?

Your system isn't loading textures correctly. Either your drivers are corrupt or you have a problem with your card. Try to reinstall your video drivers.

When did you last undust your card? The 7950s get mighty hot.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. I re-installed the drivers and then found out my Texture Filtering setting was on automatic. Just switched it to Tri-Linear and solved my problem.

Karma to jamiet757 for pointing out the texture problem and Freezer for reminding me to dust out my case.
