okay so I got a virus or soem problems and i got them off but i still had a problem with my computer where I could now use the internet without a bunch of problems and I couldnt find the problem so just decided since I didnt have anything important on my disk that I would just put my XP Home CD back in again and setup over my previous XP home.

Well, I get to the setup where it installs for you and I get to where its installing the drivers or something then i get a blue screen afte rlike 2 minutes saying it shut down to prevent damage to my computer and to restart and that I shouldnt get the screen again and if i do its probably a previous hardware problem or something.

WTF>!?!?!!? im stuck without a OS now oehfhdsgsh!

When installing the drivers and what not, did you restart your pc after you finished installing them?

If the problem occurs when you're installing OS then its gotta be a hardware issue. Recheck if everything is in its place especially your RAM.

Google nLite, you can slipstream your mobo drivers onto a windows installation cd, as well as the service packs. I recommend doing that, because I had the same problem when installing Vista, but after I did that and added some updates to it, it installed perfectly. Most likely the Windows setup is trying to use a generic driver for something in your system that isn't working.
