I got a E8400 but it's on stock cooling and it is good on what is does, but it's time to overclock and beat Panzer's 20k 3d06 score ( ) Money is no barrier, I don't want water cooling, Loudness of the fans don't bother me, what I don't want are LED's

I want a superb CPU cooler for s775 and 2 GFX coolers that fit a 8800GTS 512MB and are compatible with SLI. The cards are in the upper PCI-E slot and the lower PCI-E slot.

I got a few on my mind

CPU:
Thermalright Ultra 120 with 2 120mm Fans
Scythe Mugen Infinity with a 2nd 120mm Fan
Tuniq Tower 120

GPU:
Thermalright V2 with 2 80mm fans (x2)
Thermalright HR-03 Plus with a 92mm fan (x2)

Go.

I have the Thermalright Ultra 120, and I love it. I also have the HR-03 Plus and it works great too!

Thermalright Ultra 120 with (2x) 120mm fan what has airflow over 100cfm or 3m³/h like Silverstone FM123

I have Thermalright HR-03 Plus with that 120mm fan above and my 8800gtx temperatures don't do over 50C even under heavy load. My 8800gtx is oc'd to 633/1510/1011. 92mm fan is easier to attach to the cooler but with some cable ties it is pretty easy to attach the 120mm fan.

I'm assuming you're looking at the 120 Extreme not just the bog standard 120, you wont find a better cooler than the 120 extreme, just need a big case for it.

fitting dual thermalright HR-03's is gonna be a bitch. You're better off with getting vf-1000's

as for the cpu, the thermalright 120 is unbeatable (at least with air coolers)

Cue in Freezer 7 Pro. I use its brother for my 65nm AMD and it never goes over 40 @ 2.8GHz. I've got it to 45C when I ran CPU burn in.

get out with your kids cooler. Real men use coolers that are as heavy as the case

the freezer7pro has great cooling/cost, but the thermalright 120 is way better (and way more expensive)

So thats's 120 Xtreme and 2 VF1000's., let me run a pricetag, brb.

EDIT:
With the VF1000, I have to order the Zalman ZM-RHS88 RAM Heatsink cover for it to work, which will be over 100,00 just for the cards. That's a bit too much. Money is not a barrier but I do want it smartly spent.

no you don't. the HRS88 is only for the Ultra/GTX/GTS(640/320). It won't fit on the G92 based cards

yes. I installed 2 of them on my 8800GT SLI without the RHS-88

should be all right. The vf-1000 needs 1 slot below the gfx card

I am selling my eVGA 8800GTS G92 512B because I need the money to keep the project up which is restauring a Golf GTI Wolfsburg Edition. What this means for the GPU cooler is that everything can be suggested now.
