No G5 anywhere!!

I wanted to buy one as my old G5 got washed in orange juice and is f00ked now. I hate to change mouses after I get used to them. The only mouse in similar shape was MX518 and it looks like a piece of wank. G5 was designed and looked much better imho.

MX518 looks so cheap. It's def not step forward if we talk about how it looks like. I hope it works at least as well as G5. I'm going to test it soon. Dissapointed so far

The G5 looks better, but the mx518 has the better button config. I hate the fucking design they put on the 518, why can't they just have a black and solid grey version?

no it doesn't. I like the surface of the new G5. I don't mind the bit of texture, you only feel it if you run you fingers over it and not when you use it anyways (or at least I do)

In the place where I live they no longer sell G5.

I tried that MX518 and I must say it's no worse than G5. I haven't decided what that extra button use for yet

I've seen it happen on 2 of the 5 new G5s I've used.

I upgraded from a G5 to a G9 and never looked back. The G9 might look was bigger and boxier but it is actually smaller and fits perfectly even in my massive hands.
