I posted this beginner/intermediate guide to flying jets on my community's site a while ago after adapting it from the original I wrote for BF1942.  It documents a bunch of manuevers that are building blocks to being a good pilot, as well as alot of BF2-specific tips.  I've updated it to reflect the changes in 1.2, and added a bit in there about the 1.2 era tactics shift.

This isn't really a guide that will revolutionize a top-200 pilot's game, but there may be some things you didn't know in there.  If you're a beginner or intermediate pilot, I hope it helps you stay up for more than 30 seconds in 1.2!

Nice tips. I like the maneuvers and the altitude limit info. Thanks!

Good guide. One suggestiong though.

Since many of the maps are small enough that you can literally run in, drop bombs and disappear in a matter of seconds use this to your advantage. AA is good but the farther away you are the less accurate they are. Heck if you catch it just right you can outrun the missles. (Tested this with a F-15 on Clean Sweep against a Shika) Also always have flares ready before you run in for a target, they are more valuable than ever.

Well, I don't really have an abundant supply of pictures illustrating the moves, which is why I scanned them out of a flight sim manual.

Pictures won't help you as much as practicing
