So, as you may already know, I've got a GeminII CPU cooler now. This cooler is very close to my rear case fan, which is currently sucking air out of the case. However, this fan is 90% above the cooler, and almost nothing under it, where the hot air is:
I'll be getting an E2180 soon, during the installation of which I will remove my motherboard from the case, thus benabling me to turn the fan around. What I'm asking is, should I turn the fan around? That would leave the only exit fan being my PSU fan, and 1-3 120mm and one 80mm intakes. The air that comes out of it is very warm indeed, so it's doing some good.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
