Ok, short.
I have WMP 11, I want to go back to 10. I've downloaded 10 from several places (incl. Microsoft) and when I try to install, it tells me that the program is incompatible with my version of Windows (XP Home SP2)--I click on the details button, and the page that shows up is "unavailable".

I did. I can't install 10, that's the problem.

OK. It wasn't clear that you had actually uninstalled it.

Are you 100% sure that you downloaded the correct version? MS has two versions of WMP10 listed on the website-- One for XP x64 and another for regular XP.
