So I got my X-fi Fatal1ty (the $50 rebate on a $135 card made it hard to pass up), installed it, I see the pretty light come on when I boot up, but it's not detecting anything I plug in to it. Microphone, Headphones, speakers, zip. I'm not really even sure where to start troubleshooting, so any help would be appreciated.
Latest Drivers, if you used the ones on the disc, they have fail written all over them.

Check the issue with your driver, if any. To do that, right click on my computer>manage>device manager>sound,video, game controllers. If you see a yellow symbol then there is something wrong with the drivers. Normally, plug and play will get you the right drivers. Here are the latest drivers for your sound card.
