especially where you have some sort of bug so that you can't blow up yourself or your teammates with C4 (though you can get hurt by it)
If FF off meant that you couldn't kill your teammates but could kill yourself then i would support it more.
That would cut down on people dropping nades at their feet in a knife fight or charging into battle with C4 and flying all over the place.
That said, my limited experience with FF off servers tells me that nade/C4/clay spamming is prevalent always and certainly ruins my gaming experience.

Well, there were a lot of valid points brought up, however i think you missed one:
And Rod Foxx- CoD4 has an option to hurt the shootee, the shooter, or both
For some, realism = fun. That's why it's in the game. Don't like it? Take Miggle's advice.-TL- wrote:
I find realism to be fun. (Not to an extreme, obviously, but to an extent that includes FF)DoctaStrangelove wrote:
Why is realism more important than fun gameplay? Games are not meant to be realistic they are meant to be fun.
I do agree, though, that it would be better to have more unrealistic games that were fun, like TF2, and more that sought their fun through realism, rather the messes of both (and thus barely either) that we have now.
