81 points each. Title is all in our hands still, West Ham at home and Wigan away. West Ham currently on 3 wins in a row over us, but that shouldn't scare us. Wigan should let us win if they know whats good for them

Just like always, we're going to have to do it the hard way! Although wins against West Ham and Wigan shouldn't be hard.
Fergie got that team completely wrong. If you want to win the Premiership and and the Champions League you have to play the best teams when it counts, don't bring in Silvestre, Nani and Fletcher when they all haven't played for a good few weeks.

Your probably on about Alan Greene, he's alright really, hates diving regardless of what team they play for and always has a go at refs, I think Graham Taylor was with him today and he's fairly harmless.buLLet_t00th wrote:

I like Graham Taylor, doesn't get emotionally involved, and doesn't make his allegiance too obvious. Fat Irish man is a good commentator, but goes over the top on some things.1927 wrote:

Greene - Does get involved too much but I like that.
Taylor - Well at least he aint like Ron "Thats my boy" Atkinson (every player was his at one time)
Steve Claridge - Used to be a prick and hate US big time, calmed down a lot now but still laughs at his own jokes while the rest of the team are like "....wat...." I once got him pulled off at half time cos all he did was slag Cardiff off, he was with Johnathan ?? (Another fat bloke) but he wasnt so bad and commentated second half
Stan Collymore - Getting better but other commentators can't say things like "Dogged Attitude", or "Take the Lead" when Stan is in the box certanly can't say "Bash a Swedish bird about".
We get this one guy on Radio Wales (every Cardiff game is live on RW) and when its his turn to do us he is totally clueless, cant say the names, dosent know who plays for who might be babbling on about Ballons or something and all of a sudeen "Thers been a goal here for cardiff, oh no, Burnlet " for eg. Ron Jones is his name and he's the worst ever, its comical.
Going back to the game, I wouldnt be suprised if Capello hands the Captaincy back to JT after watching Rio go mental towards the end.
Man u fails, damn.
OMG Jord is psychic!! i would have put down money if i were you!
If I put money down the score would have been differant. It's like a curse. Whatever I do or say, no money will come of it.G.Cronin wrote:

I need a lucky charm.
Ferguson put Ronaldo too late in the match and he left Tevez in the bench. He was thinking of the match against Barcelona, before this match was finished. I still think Manchester will win the Premier and the Champions.
Was at the match today....FUCKING AMAZING ATMOSPHERE.
Best in a long time, the stadium was really buzzing, I went crazy on both goals, have a groggy throat now
At least we've kept our hopes alive, gotta hope wigan do a job on united on the last day of the season.
A rare mistake from Carvalho for their goal, but the fans can give him that, he's been our player of the season. Epic defending at the end, 2 goal line clearences.

Oh please, that's such a typical comment from people that know little about the game, I've heard it a million times.Snake wrote:
Get fucked. Scumbags? At least Utd and Fergie have built their team(s) over 2 decades, whereas Chavski get a billionaire and turn a mid-table club into a world class club within months. Its pathetic, and thats why, as a Utd supporter, I hate Chavski more than Arsenal and Liverpool, because at least they have built up, won titles and earnt the right to be at their high levels.henno13 wrote:

Chelsea represents everything that is wrong with football, so scumbags? Hah, try taking a look at your own "team".
We built our team up for years and years, we had a good run in the champions league and were often in the top6 in the league, yes we were also laughably in-consistent, losing to crap teams all the time.
We had an injection of money which was great for the club, and yes lucky, but it takes a good manager and good club spirit to get us where we were...we still have nearly all our backroom staff from before the arrival of Abramovic, the likes of Steve Clarke are extremely instrumental to what you see in the field. And besides what has happened to chelsea is healthy for the game, we can give you and aresenal some competition at the top, before it was just a monopoly for both those clubs, and that's probably why you're saying what you are saying....
I guarantee you wouldn't be slating chelsea if we had all this money, but were't competing at the top of the leagues and not winning trophies....we are just taking some of your success, and you don't like it, .....well, deal with it.
Oh and you say you respect aresnal more? Why don't you look at what Chelsea are doing for Engalnd and what Arsenal are doing.
Players from Chelsea that play for Engalnd:
Bridge
Terry
Cole (Ashley)
Lampard
Cole (Joe)
Wright-Philips
4 of which we had Pre-Abramovic
Arenal player for England:
*tumble weed*
I'll never respect Arsenal until they start to field some english players again (Walcott isn't an arguement, he barely plays and doesn't play for Engalnd senior side)
I'm sorry, but I'm sick of hearing this arguement that chelsea used ONLY money to get where we are, THAT'S BULLSHIT.

The Big One my arse Sunderland vs Middlesbrough!!! 3 - 2 and Sunderland are guranteed Premier League survival!!
Keano has been a revelation for us on Wearside and has done for us what so many managers have failed to do in recent years, keep us up. Hopefully we can now dispel the idea of us being a yo-yo club and bring in some quality players!!
Keano is now god through the eyes of a Sunderland fan.

Claudio Ranieri did an amazing job for Chelsea and was the first to introduce this rotation thing really. Chelsea finished 2nd, the summer brought in Abromovich and Claudio was out the door, gutted for him but thats football/business. Yes Chelsea then splashed the cash but they had already won the Fa Cup, finished in the top few a number of times and were successful before the money. They have had great players over the years Kerry Dixon is about as far as my memory goes back (80's) and I can always remember them being a good team, the money turned them into a great team.
Sky sports have damaged the game and have helped it grow and Chelsea have done the same, the transfer money they spend in English football filters down the leagues eventually, for eg (Hypothetically speaking it works like this). Chelsea buy SW Phillips for £15 from Man City, Man City go and spend over the odd's for Joe Ledley (Cardiff), Cardiff go and spend over the odd's for Mark Rankin (Rotherham). The last transfer wouldnt of happened if the first one didnt. Ok in Steve Sidwell's case it was a mistake but Reading took the money, the players doubled his wage, but hasn't played much football since.
Arsenal very rarely spend money in this country but thats their policy, they won the league with an English backbone (Sol, Dixon, Keown, Wright, Seaman) and thats the trick, you do need an English backbone to be successful in the Prem League. Look at Man Utd when they won the double and since, look at Chelsea, Liverpool are getting there but still too unconsistant. I hope billionaires start turning up all over the place, oh wait, they already have, even the bottom club Derby have them, its great for football IMO.

As I posted earlier I reckon Rio has fucked his England Capt. chances up now, he went nuts off the pitch. Went down the tunnel, went to boot a wall and missed, he connected with a female steward instead. Going to send her flowers apparently. He's good at missing things him, missed a drugs test once.

I fucking loves football I do.
Wahey, someone who talks some sense, +1 for you....People only seem to look at the 90's when we weren't that great (still not bad)1927 wrote:

What people seem to forget is that back in the late 60's we were the best team in England....we've been down a couple of divisions too, but come back to the top in recent years.
