Installed it, and started to play it today for the first time. It gets about 20 minutes in then everything seems to be fast forwarded, cutscenes last 20 seconds at most and leave me wondering wtf just happened? as it just skips though it so fast. On foot or in cars everything is also fast forwarded/ alot of skips in fast succesion.

There is no real patch for the game regarding this issue so far as I can tell and my rig should be able to crush the game under its rubber feet, so does anybody know whats wrong with it.

All the settings are correct btw.

Happened to me in NFS Most wanted. I just restarted my computer and problem was fixed.

I .... I'll go try that now.

If it works, karma, if it doesn't then ninja's shall remove the thermal paste from your cpu cooler whilst you sleep.

EDIT: rebooting the pc didn't work, but except karma anyway...and ninja's.

GTA sucks on consoles. Just like any other game that requires you to aim.

If you dont get a solution it tends to be because knowone has a clue, bumpin the thread wont help that.  I suggest you fully reinstall the game.

Yep I've found on san andreas that its beter on pc, the aimings better and more importantly I don't have to buy a console and tv (I use a tv tuner for the pc so i'm good as far as tv shows go).

EDIT: I knew it was because nobody knew but I thought I'd do it just in case someone who wasn't online before did.

Yes I have nothing better to do.

The PC version of GTA games are always better. In the case of VC the PC version had easier manual aim and a much longer view distance. I've played both.

Nope un then reinstalling the game has done nothing, well that sucks.
