Sure, Gamoc's blog on Thursday was written mostly from the heart, but this morning IGN's exclusive GTA IV review was posted, and confirms much of what we said two days ago.

The perfect scoring game, with 10s across the board, clearly states that 'for those wanting to know which version looks better, the edge goes to the PS3. The textures and framerate are comparable, but the PS3 has far less pop-in.' Strike One.

'There are framerate hitches here and there and (particularly on 360) there is some texture pop-in, but it actually runs better than I expected' the review goes on. Strike Two.

'The PS3 has better anti-aliasing making it look a little cleaner. Because GTA IV can preload onto the PS3 hard drive, the in-game loads are faster. Don't worry Xbox owners, the load times are rarely more than 30 seconds and don't occur very often. ' Strike Three. You're Out, Xbox.

In case you missed all that: 'The slight visual edge goes to PS3.' So there you have it - if you want the most important game this generation, why the hell would you buy it on Xbox 360? Full IGN Review.

Thanks for another pointless and already stated 360 v PS3 comparison.

GTAIV will be awesome on both consoles, we do not need your powers of searching to come up with quotes which have already been read. This just stirs up more flame war.

Anyway, your graphics part is wrong - for those who want slightly better AA, then PS3, but the 360 has noticeably more vivid colours. So it's a 50/50 take on that.

I knew it wasn't going to come for anyone today, Rockstar has made sure official deliveries come on the 29th.

Only buy things so you don't die....Food, water...ect. Eat as much of your parents food as possible instead of buying your own.

I pondered this for a long while, I decided on a Xbox however.
I acknowledge the PS3 is better in every possible visual stand point, BUT
More people at my school have Xbox, only about 2 have PS3, and the main reason I'm getting a console is so I can be more socialable while playing games.

nobody in my school has a ps3, they all have xboxes, just wait, they will get ps3s soon enough.

360 was great back when it came out, but people who buy them now are wasting their money.
