i downloaded it in like 10 seconds @ over 1 MB/s. which one are you downloading?

I did notice that there's a 169 BETA that came out March 6th, gonna give that a try tomorrow and see what it can do

If they're still beta they probably still have debug code in them, which would easily account for the lower scores. In fact the differences shown above are very small. If they do have debug code in them then expect full release drivers to perform much better.

I compared the new 174 Beta against the 169.44 Beta out of interest. No ral peformance increase but it does say it should be used in conjunction with the CRYSIS 1.2 patch so I guessing it should make wearing a power suit that little bit more enjoyable

screeenie below is the 174 driver v 169.44 (the beta 169.44 gives me an almost identical 3D score to the whql version)
