[CSS] some sound problems

i have been using skins for quite a while
(for some reason) i deleted them but re-downloaded them

ever since i have reset my skins the following sound files dont work:

m4a1_clipin.wav
m4a1_clipout.wav

and a few more but the M4 is the one i notice the most
they are in the files im 100% sure of that

when i go into a game i get this error in the console:
Failed to load sound "weapons\m4a1\clipout.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository
Failed to load sound "weapons\m4a1\clipin.wav", file probably missing from disk/repository

i try to delete them so CS can make new copys
it dosent work
when i look after it is there!

help

Sounds like corrupt sound files. Try a re-install.

Pretty much nothing to do but search the comments on FPSbanana (I assume thats where you have the skins from), for people having the same problem...

Or you could simply make your own sound files and place them in the correct directory,,, other than that.. the only solution is to do a complete re-install of CSS... I had to do that too when I accidently fuxxored a skin for my CSS...

If you need good skins just PM me
The only weapon left un-skinned in my CSS is the UMP ^^

Make sure you've deleted them and the folder they're in, so the game will load the sound files from the .gcf. I've tinkered in skins myself when I used to play Counter-Strike. I imagine it's gotten harder to play with skins since servers started using sv_consistency and stupid plugins like Z-block.

Just go on fps banana and choose a new m4 sound... sounds like file is corrupt... just find one u like and put it in the folder... hell even record urself going "boom headshot" and put it in there its up to u.... it happened to me and thats wat i did.
