I was born in 75.

I can remember "Weeble Wobbles"

Ford Capri's Mk1's.

CND Peace protests which lasted approx 5 years

Ronald Regan

Miner Strikes

Live league football on the BBC, when fans used to riot on the pitch

Ian Botham winning the Ashes, when lads in brown suits used to invade the pitch

and yes Guns and Roses are the greatest band ever (only in imo of course)

But do you think I can remember Mrs 27's birthday? Can I heck.

Can infact relate to many of them but i'm proud to state that i wasn't even close to follow any of the fashions from the 80's nor did i care much for most of the music except for AC/DC, Iron Maiden etc etc ...

You'd have to have been born in 81 to actually have done most of that.
I was born in '78 and remember most, if not all of that.  I feel so old after reading the replies in this thread.

Edit: Btw, Weird Science ftw!

Thundercats, Ghostbusters and whatnot.
i'd say i'm a 90s child. i was born in 84 so in 1989 i was still only 5. thats not old enough to remember much. most of my childhood memories are from the 90s. but there was 80s spillover, mostly classic cartoons and michael jackson mania.

but then i also remember watching repeat cartoons from the 50s as well since new shows were still expensive to make.
