That's awsm.
I'm still getting a 3870, though.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Wow! I've been praying to the silicon gods for ATi to get their shit together and save me so I could get rid of my 8800GT; I'm not happy with NV drivers and would love nothing more than to get back to using ATi cards. If this is real, I think my prayers may have been answered.
Interesting... gotta wait for official release tho...
And I'll skip this gen anyway..

Wasn't that last set of scores for the 4870s posted here shown to be faked?
I smell lies, but if it's true I know what my next upgrade will be
I'll skip these.
Wait, what? Is that a single GPU?
If it's not BS then I am going red when I upgrade next.

Apparantly nvidia is itimidated by what they are hearing of the 4870. It should beat the 9800GX2 but that crysis benchmark looked somewhat suspect to me.
