For some odd reason my computer is only playing any online video for no longer then 3 seconds then it freezes.

sometimes that happens to me if I open a lot of movies at once, try watching them one at a time.
What browser are you using? Have you tried flushing the cache, deleting temporary files, using a different browser, and/or reinstalling the browser?
That happened too me yesterday, 2 seconds of craptube and it froze, somehow it fixed itself, you might just have to wait it out

Youtube is also a server under extreme loads, it may just be crapping out and not actually freezing. Now if it does the same thing with vids on your drive through your favourite media player then you have an issue.

i just restarted firefox and all was good
