this is probably a naive question, but if a board supports crossfire, does that mean its:

a) incompatible with nvidia cards
b) compatible with nvidia or ati cards in single card mode but will only support ati in dual card mode

A is incorrect.
B is correct.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

The industry promises crap like huge memory modules and 8-core CPU's in the 'near' future. Motherboard prices for baby DDR3 are outstandingly far-fetched. The P5K Pro looks nice for now.
