BF2S Forums GTA4 on PS3 or 360?

I personally own a 360, but in no ways am I biased.

Lets look at the cold hard facts :

GTAIV on PS3
- Better AA
- Slightly crisper
- Faster loading times by about 2 seconds
- Free MP

GTAIV on 360
- More vivid colours ( noticeable )
- New episodic content adding more than 20 hours to original gameplay, as well as game improvements.

That's about it. Both games are incredibly similar, and both pros and cons cancel each other out. So basically it's up to you. Choose wisely.

Although, right now... I advise the PS3. For the simple reason that it's the only futureproof console, and MGS4 is coming out for it.

Really? I heard it's actually been quite balanced. But maybe I am wrong.
Although.... Rockstar will bring up a fix soon enough, they are getting some very rude phone calls in. Also, the freezing only applies to the 60GB version, I believe.

Looks nice on the XBox, especially at night, but I'm told it's much nicer on the ps3, and the controls are better. So yeah, PS3.

Vilham, supposedly, each episode will last 10 hours; and there will be 2 new episodes.

Funky, it's not much nicer on the PS3. Rubbish. After the actual facts, it's down to personal preference. The controls aren't better; again, down to personal preference.

@ Volatile, that may be true, but lets not get into console wars. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The biggest for the PS3 is that it doesn't show the RRoD and it will last for a long time.

Don't fold to the Console propaganda bullshit. Wait for the PC version... you wont regret it.

Right now, they are actually on par. Graphics-wise, that is. As most game developers have not caught on with the immense power of the PS3.

Currently Sony is completely revamping the online system. By the time they are finished, the new games will be out and it will be just as good, if not better, than Live.

ps3 no contest, just look what you get

we all know that it will have games of epic scale in a year, where will the 360 be then? right where it is now, while the 360 has reached it's peak, the ps3 will keep getting better

....It's all about games afterall.

I dont own either of the conoles but i've played some of the games that the xbox 360 gamers think are awesome... the ones you stated above, and i thought they were all shite. I'm a playstation fan myself, even though i dont own a PS3 id say go for PS3, has wider scope for newer games. And someone said above, i think xbox 360 has reached its peak.

Maybe. Maybe you are right and it has reached it's peak. I highly doubt it though. There are still some killer games coming out for the 360 ( although not denying that the games coming out for PS3 are awesome as well ) and you cannot say that the wider scope of games is for the PS3. Because that just isn't true.
