Right well a friend of mine went with his car and he was told that if you're a noob and you don't know the track and your car is not prepared for it (slicks, 4-point seatbelts, helmet, rollcage etc) then it would be best if he didn't try cause many people have died or have been seriously injured.
Of course he disobeyed and made a single run but he said that it was very dangerous at times and that he felt unsafe. That, coming from a person who drives in Greece is a grave statement. If you've driven on our streets you'll know what I mean.

That's what I know from people who actually went there. I'm not making this shit up. I don't even care. If you're an expert on the track then please enlighten us. Sheesh.

Lucky to be able to see all that lowing.  My heritage is mostly German and I would love to see the country up close and personal.

Germans make the best beer in the world..........period! Trust me, I know, beer, it is my thing. The Belgians have a tendency to add spices and herbs to their brews, which is OK I guess, if that's what your into (might as well sup an alco pop if you ask me). The Germans use coriander in Gose.
I believe that bier should be as clean tasting as possible and the quality and purity of the ingredients makes it good, not a bunch of herbs.

I can make a can of 50cent can of tinned chili taste good with some fresh coriander and sour cream.

Nope, totally sober, I am not much of a drinker, unless it is Margaritas I am just floored by what I see. Today ( for those who know the area) we drove from Bad Windsheim to Dachau on the back roads (highway 13).  The drive through the countryside was amazing. Once we got to Dachau, we could not find the concentration camp. I stopped and asked 2 people at 2 different times and no one "understood" what I was asking, even though the spoke English. Is it something the residence wish to forget or are ashamed of?

It was a very interesting place ( to say the least) The crematorium and the "showers" left you speechless.

This weekend we plan on going to  Berchtesgaden and the Eagles Nest. Should we just drive it or would we get more out of the trip by taking the train?

Tomorrow we are going to Rothenberg and do some shopping and site seeing....... torture museum or something, I am told.


Stingray24, if you go no where else in the world for the rest of your life, do not pass on Germany. To date I have been no where in the states or Asia or the ME () that compares as far as history, scenery, or people. A must for any bucket list.

Guys I can't thank you enough for all the input for my trip here, I do check this thread and we talk about stuff to do and see based on what has been posted.
